Capital Football is seeking applicants for a new Federation Development Officer, a role which will be based out of the Federation’s offices in Petone. This is a tremendous opportunity for somebody who is excited to make a difference to the game in the region.

A vital part of the role will include working with a group of clubs to support and continue to build their capability. The successful candidate will work with a set number of clubs and have the challenge of making improvements in all areas of player, coach and game development. Working closely with the development and operations staff in the team to help build the game across the region is essential.

This is a full time position, which will require travel throughout the region as well as the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Preferred applicants should possess:

• Experience of football development;
• Excellent communication skills;
• IT literate;
• Experience of player development;
• Experience or ability to deliver Coach Education;
• Willing to work weekends and evenings;
• An OFC/NZF C Licence Coaching Award or international equivalent is desirable.
