Calling all Pasifika Football Members!
New Zealand Football in collaboration with the Ministry of Pacific Peoples is hosting Talanoas/Workshops in November in both Auckland and Wellington, focusing on “Pasifika Football in Communities”.
The Ministry for Pacific Peoples’ and New Zealand Football have co designed a project to maximize the impacts and benefits of Leveraging the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Aotearoa for Pacific Peoples in Aotearoa. This project will bring together Pacific communities to witness and participate in the greatness of Football.
This project kicks off across the motu with events to encourage Pacific rangatahi, wahine and whanau to participate in talanoa on ways they think football can be made more accessible for Pacific communities. The purpose of the Pacific Football in Communities Talanoa/workshops is to increase the engagement and participation of Pacific peoples in football across Aotearoa.
We’d love to hear from diverse Pacific voices from our current Pasifika members and wider community.
