Capital Football is sad to inform you of Callum McLachlan’s departure from his position as Competitions Manager on the 16 of October 2024.
Part of the reason behind Callum’s decision is to focus on being a professional cricketer for 12 months of the year, while he has the opportunity, and we wish him all the best in his endeavours.
Callum thanks all the clubs for their hard work and dedication to the game and for supporting him in his role. “Leaving was a tough decision, but now is the right time to focus solely on my cricket career. There are a lot of exciting things coming in the next few years and I am excited to see where football in the region progresses to”.
Operations Manager, Blair Duncan is sorry to say goodbye to Callum but has no doubt that he has a bright future and he’ll be a success on and off the field. “In this time Callum has contributed a significant amount to Capital Football. Callum has done a fantastic job in Juniors, Youth, Futsal and more recently in the Senior Men’s Local Leagues. His boundless energy, thoughtfulness and highest of standards have all contributed to his running of the competitions and the management and relationships he has with clubs and key stakeholders. We are sorry Callum has cut his time short in the Capital, but he goes with our well wishes and he can leave in the knowledge of a job well done.”
