Wainuiomata have earned promotion to the Ultra Football Central League after an emphatic second-leg playoff win over New Plymouth Rangers.
The hosts ran out 7-3 winners at Richard Prouse Park on Saturday to take the two-legged tie 12-6 on aggregate.
Coming into the second leg down 5-3, any hopes of a comeback for New Plymouth were quickly ruled out as they found themselves down 4-0 inside 14 minutes.
Capital Premier Golden Boot Kailan Gould already had a hat-trick in that time, including a deft scoop over the Rangers goalkeeper for his third in six minutes in the 14th minute.
That took his season tally to 24 goals.
The shellshocked Rangers conceded two more first-half goals to end the tie as a contest.
They did recover in the second half to salvage some pride, winning the second 45 minutes 3-1.
Wainui's Ciaran O'Reilly finished off the rout with a stunning freekick in the 87th minute.
The win marks Wainui's return to the Central League for the first time since 1999.
