Girls and Women’s Month is an initiative running nationwide across the federations through the month of March. Designed to introduce girls and women to the beautiful game across Aotearoa New Zealand.
Girls & Women’s month was established to shine the spotlight on girls and women in football and grow female participation at the grassroots level.
Prepare for a month full exciting events tailored to celebrate the spirit of our female footballers.

At these events, you might even be lucky enough to pick up some freebies AND there will be a few special appearances by some Football Ferns and Futsal Ferns along the way - watch this space!

This event is aimed towards girls aged between 5 to 10 years old either completely new to the game or who have experienced the Fantails Programme.
This event will be capped with entrants so please do get in quick to register. We encourage clubs to join us in being involved with the delivery, should you like to be a part of the day please contact steeve@capitalfootball.org.nz
